The Great Sledge Journey I 

Knud Rasmussens first great sledge journey went from the most northern part of Greenland, crossed Canada to Alaska. He became the first ever to go by sledge from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

Ono Fleischers first great sledge journey

In 1975 Ono Fleischer went on his first sledge expedition in memory of Knud Rasmussen from Ilulissat along the northwestern coastline to Qaanaaq.
