Things we bring along on the journey

When travelling in arctic it is necessary to bring all your stuff with you, especially when you have to be independence and be able to manage the trip by yourself. It is cold and the travel will last long time, so therefore it is necessary to bring all your needs during the trip.

Our route is long and some of the villages are long away from each others, and if something emergency happens the help can not be reached in one minute.

Thatīs why the most important thing to bring with us is dogfoods and thatīs the reallly first thing you have to take care of. The next is skindclothes then navigation equipments and consumption for human beings.

Each of the two sledges have the above mentioned equipments. The reason for that is that if we lost each other, we should borh be able to surrive and in that way arrive to the destionation healthy and alive. It is very important when you travel in the arctic area where it can gets very cold, to be able to manage your own things.
