Born in Sarfannguaq and grew up in Sisimiut. Mathias Ingemann is educated as an electrician and navigator. For many years he made a living as a fisher and is now selfemployed outfitter arranging tours for tourists. He has always wanted to meet the fellow inuits from Canada.

During the sledge journey Mathias Ingemann will be responsible of navigation, dogs and tools.
